Welcome to Mid Berks Ramblers!

This is the new Mid Berks Ramblers website. All the old favourites are here, plus a more comprehensive way of seeing our walks programme, and all the other Ramblers walks available. Please contact the Website administrator with any comments.

Mid Berks Walks Programme

At the moment, we do not have enough walk leaders to put on a full programme of walks. Historically, we have offered two walks, one short, one longer, on each Sunday and Thursday. This requires quite a few walk leaders, and many of ours have had to give up either permanently or temporarily. If you are looking for walks, the other Berkshire groups also offer walks and you are welcome to join them. The same applies to all Ramblers groups across the country. Or you could become a walk leader yourself...

Are you interested in leading walks?

If you want to know more about becoming a Ramblers walk leader, you can join a 1 hour ‘Getting Started’ Walk Leader Conversation to find out what’s involved. You’ll hear from an experienced volunteer, who will talk about a ‘day in the life’ of a walk leader – and be able to ask questions to help you decide if it's the right role for you.
